Description
We went to Sandsend for lunch yesterday, it was howling a gale off the North sea. We were freezing it was "bracing", as the Yorkies say!! We were so glad to get home in the warm. Thank you for looking and treasured comments. Hugs. Diane. xx

I would be all bundled up to set and watch the beautiful white waves coming in. We have blue skies and sun, it looks just like summer till you walk out and feel the 42f degrees lol. We had our first fire in the woodstove, nice and cozy..Chocolate hugs to you both;0)bonita

Superb shot Di and yes it was cold. I sometimes wonder why you take certain shots but they always come good so you obviously know what you are doing unlike myself. Great sea and sky and wonderful perspective. Nice light and shadows also. For those interested in the location, Sandsend is a lovely little village about two miles north of Whitby in North Yorkshire and well worth a visit.

Us Yorkshire folk really have had to bare the brunt of a cold snap recently, haven't we?! Apperently it's supposed to get a bit warmer for the weekend though, so something to look forward to there!
