Description
Good thing I had my camera or I wouldn't be able to show you all some of the interesting little moments at the Hollow. We were just walking down by the creek, Murphy and I, and I was taking photos at ground level of the rocks. Murphy of course wandered over just as I snapped the picture. He does that a lot, and I have to ask him to please move as I'm interested in the bug or flower, and don't really need him in the shot. I thought I got the image before Murphy got in the picture, grins. Imagine my surprise when I downloaded the days photos and found not only Murphy in my ground level shot, but this little one!
The photo is mine, down at the Hollow, untouched except for the addition of my sig. Ha Ha, almost had you fooled, didn't I? The little one is from faestock at Deviant Art.
We left for the Hollow on Saturday, and got back Wednesday, yesterday. We had wonderful weather, clouds and sun, no rain! It wasn't too cold, but I'm sure glad I brought extra sweatshirts and heavy hoodies.
So I've lots of catching up to do.

At first I though it was a fallen leaf but then I saw her, and I guess Murphy did too, that is why he had to get into the picture, to show you the litte elfin girl. Wonderful picture, I love this Rita, hugs Jane xx

First Rita, Happy Birthday! I hope you're having a splendid time wherever you are. (Hope you didn't have to spend the whole day & night re-doing your bathroom, lol!) This image is a delight: The photo, sans visitor, is wonderful because of the way it opens up to the rocks, which become like boulders at the bottom. And their interplay between rock & leaves is wonderful. And then there's Murphy, looking on from way back there, curious what's going on. The woman is a great addition---running maybe from Murphy? Or maybe she's just in a hurry because she escaped her 19th C novel and will be taken out of it if she doesn't get back fast enough. She's seamlessly included, Rita, a great job. And I love how you put your signature right into the rock on the left. Well I'm back for 1 per, today, and it's never easy to pick just one in your gallery, but I picked this because it's witty, joyous and beautiful which is what your whole gallery is, and what I'm sure you are. So it's a great image for your birthday! I'm making an image, but I'm late (as I've been with everyone & everything this year). But I hope you have a great night & that the day was wonderful. Delightful capture! You must live in Ireland, these folk do not live in America, do they? Where you lying on the creek bed to get this shot? Lovely idea to put that leaf on the frame, it is a perfect touch that few would have thought of but it is just perfect.
