Description

Here's another version of the P11 Fighter by Popgriffin. This one sports the factory paint scheme which blends well with the gray of the sky, a critical detail when trying to stay hidden. However in this case, it didn't appear to matter. Sometimes the bad guy gt lucky. Unfortunately for the bandit, he wasn't all tha lucky. The starkness of his darker paint scheme allows these two pilots to see the him sliding in before he can get on their six unseen. I rendered all three fighters separately and then brught them in as their own layer into Photoshop. I made a ggrey-blue graduated background, then added the clouds using a photoshop brush of clouds. The contrail behind the enemy fighter in the distance was done by drawing a line using the pen tool and then stroking this with a basic hard brush. I stroked it with white, then blurred it with gaussian blur. I added a graduated layer to the blur so that the end softenned out to nothing. Finally, I added a photo filter over the whole composition using a shade of blue taken from the background. I am really proud of the way this turned out. very VERY nice work. I love the artistic style, but if I could suggest you work on matching the lighting to the background more to really make the ships fit into the scene.
