Description
Shot this on the first day of my 7-day trip to Madison County Iowa at 9:20 AM. I’ve drove by this lake before going to Eureka Springs Arkansas always looking for what was going on in town. This time photography took priority, this time I turned and drove to the lake. I was pleasantly surprised, it was beautiful and I got there early enough to catch some decent light and the clouds hadn’t started breaking up, still blanketing the far bank and islands. The sky was a nice blue reflecting its color in the water; the water was clean allowing the color to come through pure.
