I love the perfectly straight, flat lines of trees. I assume for windbreaks? That's what we plant them here for. A beautifully compelling shot! It draws me over the hill to see what's next.

I love road images! Beautiful!

The road appears to be like a silver ribbon in the smokey haze, interesting overall effect, BB

Near the Sea of Azov. A beautiful and somewhat strange landscape. The pastel shades give it an otherworldly feeling. The mysterious structures on the hill and the telephone poles that look like crosses add to the overall atmosphere.

Beautiful landscape shot - looks like a place I'd love to go cycling...

I'll end my visit for now, Nikolay, but it's a beautiful image to end with. At first blush, this is defined by the beautiful swoops of hill & valley. But quickly we see it's also defined by the dissolving haze and accompanying "white atmosphere" which accompanies haze & fog. It allows defined entities to stand out even more, because they're surrounded by a sea of hazed nature. Thus the trees, the signs, the cars, the lines in the road, all come to us as 'statements' in a sea of gentle muddle. (Muddle in the sense of haze, not lack-of-vision.) Your composition has allowed patches of light-color to eat through the haze: Ie, the pinkish grass on the left side, the yellow-red trees on the road, in front, and in the background hills on the right. These are accents, visual exclamation points in the foggy air all around. And in back? Horizon-back? Those odd creatures---perhaps barns, perhaps silos, perhaps factories, perhaps (in the last quarter from the left) lonely trees against the horizon. More of those 'unanswered questions' or, better, mysteries so present in your photos: They complete this journey with a feeling of "the unknown is around us, let's exult in its presence..." And the air hovers over it all like a transparent blanket, holding everything in place. Beautiful, Nikolay: I can't tell you how much it means to come here, esp when I can make the time to speak to your work and journey with it. I learn everytime I come here. You're a wonderful artist, and we should all be grateful for what you give us week to week...
