Oh, this is gorgeous. The joy of being so far behind with your gallery is that I get to see new things...such as this, and the other wonders I've enjoyed so far. I'm reminded of Japanese (or even Chinese) screen art when I look at this, only it's so much visually realistic, but it shares so much in common with the "floating world" so well-expressed in Japanese art. This is a marvel and I am quite taken by it.

Browsing through your gallery, this stopped me cold. It's gorgeous! I couldn't imagine how I had missed it, but then checked the date, and it was the time when we were closing up the house in Kansas and I had no time for anything but working. :( Presenting this as a triptych is such a simple thing, but so impactful. Superb!
