Description

The Queen of the Crows Herself has come to take a look at Pumpkin Jack's work! Jack's not worried, everyone knows he carves the best Jack-O-Lanterns! Maybe the Crow Queen will want one for her doorstep, too! The Crow Queen was a stock photo from faestock at Deviant Art, The other two attendant crows are from restless concepts at psptubedepot. The little elf is from romiposer. the pumpkins are from freetubes, and Andrea7087 made Pumpkin Jack. The last two I believe were from free stuff here. All are tubes, except for stock photo, which I had to tube out the "Crow Queen" from. Stuff was resized, touched up, etc., signed and framed in PSP. I was so glad I could enlighten you all as to the possible origins of Count Dracula, grins. It always amazes me what shows up in fractals! Thank you all for the lovely and supportive comments, and the faves. Still worling on catching up with all your galleries .. never fear, I'll get there!

A super halloween image and the crows are a great touch. I reckon if I was Jack though I would be a little nervous as that Crow Queen looks like she may be a bit of a dragon. The pumpkins look great with the lighting.

a marvelously playful image, and wonderful for the mix of creepy spirits & out-and-out play that typifies Halloween. I've seen your sense of humor again & again as I've visited your gallery, and it's subtle, funny, sometimes in-our-faces, and always with real class. I love the different expressions of the three pumpkins on the right---the left-most one looking almost stunned rather than diabolical...Your human & elfish characters are wonderful, the little elf sitting there like he's enjoying just watching it all. The crows are very well done, the middle one (the queen?) with an elaborate brow and a cape/wrap that makes her look like queen of the night (terrific). And you've got a bird in the foreground who looks like he's headin' outa this image (yes?), trying to step over your frame and jump into the gallery. (You even gave him a shadow on the frame---nice touch!) Got tired of being a tube? A jpg??? It could happen...Otherwise you have a wonderful deep forest with fine light & shade and autumnal golds all over. Even your signature's carved into a rock (another nice touch). Great deal of fun, and lots of little surprises. As always, you're putting wonderful 'gifts' out there for your fans, lots of 'easter eggs', and all done with panache & great humor. Wonderful halloween/samhain image.
