Description
Nope, not one of my out the window of a plane shots!! I was riding my bike home from the beach the other day and took a light detour. There were several pelicans and egrets wandering around and I caught this guy and his friend just as they took off.

Get a load of those wings! Wow! Talk about graceful! I had to laugh aloud when I read your title, especially since my internet connection was slow and so the thumbnail didn't fully come up...I was left wondering such things as: "Hmmm...Is Marilyn taking flying lessons now?" Somehow that would'd surprise me...image the photos you could make! I love this picture, especially the POV and the way the larger bird (pelecan?) is gliding so incredibly low. Marvelous!
