Description

*To Zoom is best* ... Hi Guys, I am feeling much better thank you. I was supposed to upload this last week, but couldn't so hope you don't mind. I painted the witch, her clothes and hat, and put the whole scene together using PS CS4 - photography of cats with my Finepix 5000 A short story for you - ONE SCARY HALLOWEEN NIGHT The 2 cats went on their usual walkabouts that night, but unbeknown to them it was Halloween night. Strange sounds were heard that eerie night, and both were becoming nervous. It so happened that they found themselves in a creepy graveyard, and before them was an old wrinkled witch. She seemed ok and the boy's walked slowly toward her, their body's close to the ground and their ears back as they did so. "Come here little kitties" she croaked in her witchy voice, "I will not harm you, but you can join in the magical fun of Halloween with me, if you like". The boys looked at one another, and decided to hang around, being as they were curious. Oh dear! ... they did not know that the witch they had stumbled upon could that one night of the year, summon spirits from nowhere, it was her best magical power and she was quite proud of it. "Yikes" Freddie caterwhauled toward her, and then screamed out to his friend Mistapus, "I am definitely getting out of here, so follow me and RUN for your life as swift as your feline paws will carry you" ... and they got home very quick that night!! ... ©2010 JaneEden Moonchild-ljilja and cross 3d object free stock - http://moonchild-ljilja.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2ozoh2 and gates lost land bgd free stock - http://moonchild-ljilja.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2utlb7 My dear friends, Many thanks for all your inspirational comments on my last picture, for the faves and to those who honoured me by adding me to their favorite artists. I hope you all have a great week, take good care, love and hugs Jane xx PLEASE NOTE - Please don't worry about my cats in this pic, Freddie was about to move off and he was meaowing as I took the pic, and talking to me as he does. Mistapus looks startled, but I was playing with him at the time and he was about to pounce on his cat toy. Thank you for visiting my gallery, I hope you enjoy, but please respect my copyright ©2010 JaneEden thank you.

I love your story and image Dear Jane but it would have been surprising if it had not been the case. :) I guess that from now on Mistapus and Freddie will avoid to walk through cemeteries on Halloween nights... Your story is just charming and cute and the image that you have created is amazing. As usual both match perfectly. Your composition does show the most important in the story and it is a very elaborate artwork. I love the attention to details which (witch?) is visible in all your creations. I love the cats pictures that you integrated in your image (as well as the ghosts, crosses,...) because you perfectly captured the way a cat does behave when he feels threatened... Of course the environment is perfect and creepy.. The witch is very nicely painted and no detail is missing. I love the pleats and folds on her dress, her hat, her face and the pose that you chose to represent her... It is magnificent because skilfully painted. And I also lover all the magical effects that you have created. ;) Anyway, isn't "magical" the best word to describe your art? Thank you Dear Jane. You make my day... Your friend, Philippe
