Description
I woke up this morning from a considerable racket. Looking out my bedroom window I saw this - a group of men laying new asphalt on the walkways between th buildings in the area where I live. A lot of noise, but rather small and nifty machines for laying asphalt in restricted areas. Image is best viewed full size for details.
I also took photos of their small "steam" rollers, if anyone's interested.
I don't see a genre for this so I placed it under "Unspecified". Perhaps a "Work" genre could be added to the site?

I think the word 'art' has little definable meaning anymore. Your shot would certainly fit into the "Urban/Cityscape' category, and several others as well.
