Now, that is COOOOL! Tara, you are the Jedi Master of close-up detail photos! My hat is off to you - if I actually wore a hat.... Magnificent!

This is stellar...well...it's sub-orbital, but still stellar. I love the curves, the sweep of those curves, the warm/cool color combinations, the abstraction carried up a notch by the revelation of parts rather than a whole. Yeah, I like this a lot, and it's quite an interesting feeling to see this as I listen to the moody bit of the Inception soundtrack...track #10 which takes a left turn into brooding minor-key singing in another language before diving back into the main theme...something about that and gold/blue curves and oblates really works. Funny how that happens. This is marvelous, and I can't help but imagine this as a wonderful navigational device either from the ancient world or from a Frank Herbert-style future. This is really nice!

Superb abstract. I like how the blue complements the rings which range in color from black to yellow.

you know how I feel about your abstract images based on real objects: Everyone is a jewel, and this is no exception. This could be any number of things, but the thing is: It's still very clearly something from real life, it has the heft and presence and light of something from real life, and that means you created an abstract and a real life photo all in one. It's a real 'tara' piece, clear, vivid, with real dark and strong light, a sense of silhouette for the objects you're capturing, and the mystery of knowing it's real---as an abstract---and yet not knowing exactly what it is, but being content because the image is object enough. Ie, it's an object unto itself. That's true abstraction! It's beautiful, extracted & whole, and mysterious. Not bad for a small image! Fine work tara, and I'm one of a number of people who still say, more, more...

The imaginary outdoes the 'real' in this little beauty. Once again, I've seen the whole but you've seen the abstract. Same object...different view. What a gem:*

I haven't commented on this yet, because I keep coming back to it and trying to come with words worthy. It IS that good, and I love it.
