Description
Listening to Chester See sing Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", and this is what happened.
When I first started out rendering on the very first day a few years ago, I used Hiro 3. He was free. So I used him for just about everything for the first year or so with these morphs and mats (called "Stratus"), which look alright in Poser and very, very realistic in DAZ (which I don't use). So I dug out old Hiro 3 for this one to see how he looks with Kfox's wet skin node trick.
Surprisingly well, I think. But I'm a sucker for pretty boy angels. What can I say?
There's no real intended meaning here. It's a teenaged Gabriel or maybe a young Lucifer before the fall, hence the barbed wire. I don't know. I just kind of did it without thinking...
I might have to put Hiro 3 back into some renders. He still works pretty well.
EDIT: A number of folks have asked about the shorts, and I didn't think to mention anything about it. These shorts are form the "Ad Gladio" set available at DAZ, which is why I didn't give them a vendor credit. Great stuff, and absolutely essential if you're going to do any Gladiator/Circus Maximus type stuff. If you load up all the other armor in the set, which I always do (and from what I've seen, so does everyone else) these shorts are covered up and not really visible. In fact, I was surprised when I loaded just the shorts that it had such a massive bulge. I hadn't noticed that before because it was always covered.
That was a nice surprise.
Right now the Ad Gladio set is selling for $22.95 - pricey in these hard economic times, but the quality is well worth it. Very well made set and it look great.

I still like Hiro 3, and I've always loved Stratus. A perfect young angel on the verge of becoming an aware man.

I like him as "Young Lucifer", both appealing and a little menacing too (it's the dark eyes). Pretty darn cool and Hiro 3 (who I never thought much of until now) looks stunning!

Have to agree - Hiro 3 is always a pretty Guy... And in addition with Capsces Hitoro Morphs you may have very astonishingly experiences with him...
