Description

from Wikipedia The NS (Dutch Railways) class 1100 was based on a French four-axle locomotive, SNCF (French Railways) series BB 8001 and BB 8100. They were built between 1950 and 1952 and were in service for many decades until 1999. The picture shows the class 1100 in the Dutch Railway Museum as delivered in the new turquoise color of the NS introduced in 1950. Later on they got a Prussian blue and in the seventies a yellow-grey color. I really love them more in this color scheme than in the traditional blue and yellow scheme. Awesome POV. Looks very impressive by that.
