The Dutch National Aviation Theme Park Aviodrome is quite unique in Europe because it is not just an ordinary museum of aviation, but rather a genuine aviation theme park containing no less than 6000 square metres of, amongst other things, an aviation shop, restaurant, extensive catering and conference facilities, and a large and dynamic open-air museum.
One of the buildings is a 1928-replica of Schiphol (The largest Dutch airport near Amsterdam).
The picture shows the Departures hall inside this replica. It exhales a mood of yesteryear. I particularly like the colored tiles.
