Description

My last shot of the Neptune Pool and a close-up of the Greco-Roman temple. There are two more of Charles Cassou's statuary. Photo recently scanned. Another excellent foto of the Hearst Castle grounds, Dana. If I didn't know better, I would say that I'm back in the ancient elysian Greco-Roman days with all those beautiful alabaster statues and sculpture. The maintenance people had to be wearing togas to do it justice. And I see Andrea stole my word.

I am thinking what people commenting fail to realize are these are actual, ancient pieces brought over by Hearst to build his fantastic castle. Another one of my favorites on the tour here.
