Description
It's back!!!
Captured 7/31/10, at the American Civil War Reenactment, held at the vast and beautiful El Dorado Park in beautiful Long Beach, California.
Much better viewed full size.
In the wake of Sunday's traumatic event, I got my car repaired today, so that's another problem eliminated, at least for the time being.
Toodles, thankx for the visit, and for any and all laudatory comments and favs.

I thought they had Santa caps on there for a minuet Harry. Awesome (or should I say smokin' ?) shots here my friend.

So this is what scared the parrots away - oh wait a minute - wrong day. :>)Wonderful collage Harry and full of action shots. No pun intended there. Dana

I thought after all this time there wouldn't be any more comments about the Santa-like caps and suits worn by the gallant and intrepid Zouave soldiers.

Always enjoy your photographs of the Civil War re-enactment. Must have been noisy and very smoky at times, but certainly worth the trip, considering the fine pics you collected.

weapons, great uniforms, smokes with action...the great series continoues. Glad your car is fixed, so good to be independent even if you just need some breadroll from the corner shop.

Fine action photography Harry. The smoke really does lend an air of realism. These look so good at the zoom!!!

Great images Harry.

Wonderful images! On zoom it's nearly like being there...except it's quieter and not so smoky. I hope you weren't in any danger with all that armament around. Well done, Harry!

Wonderful action and smoke! I like the POV on the line of soldiers fighting, and the progression of images. It gives an idea of the repeated action of loading, firing, loading, firing etc. Great shots!
