Description

A special Happy Birthday wish for Jane Eden! This ancient Flemish tapestry hangs in the informal dining room. It is so large that Hearst had them raise the floor above so that the tapestry could be hung to his liking. When walking around the second floor, there are three steps up to enter one room and three steps down exiting that room on the other side. The tapestry is the reason.
