Description

I've always enjoyed Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's poem "The Village Blacksmith". So here is my homage, complete with spreading chestnut tree, to that epic narrative. This picture is a tribute & thank you to all of the hard-working veterans! I would also like to say "Happy Birthday" to JaneEden & Pixeluna. In addition I am sending prayers to Adrie & PassionateGuy. Flint, you did a wonderful job on this image my friend. What a warm and comfortable feeling one gets just looking at this classic family scene. Really enjoy the kids looking on in wonder as he shoes their horse
