Description

Wishing Jenny a very Happy Birthday. One of the pieces that was kept inside the mansion so it may not be a copy. Sorry that I can’t remember if he was Greek or Roman – leaning to Roman. Another scanned photo. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

Stellar lighting and textural effects in this pic of the sculpture, probably Roman, in this cool indoor capture, Dana.

Now this is what I call timeless masterpiece. See those intricate details on the hair and clothing. Quite a great capture, Dana. The angle was perfectly right, with superb lighting too! Thank you for the wonderful dedication, it's greatly appreciated! :-)

Great capture, Dana - and a fin gift for Jenny! It's a ram or goat skin he is wearing over his shoulders. I think you're right, his style and pose looks roman. Have a nice week end, Dana!

wonderful!! splendid dedication! The statue is probaly a Roman statue. It shows Dionysus (or a Roman Emperor playing Dionysus Bacchus) with grapes and ivy leaves on his head and the goat skin as a mantle.
