Description

They were Sea Cadets from the local corps, ones that we taught things like navigation, drill, rope works and a host of other sea & ship based ways, terms and life skills. Then came a stroke of luck a life would have it that I ended up as a ship keeper and could use the vessel to apply some of these lessons in real time terms. Not that we ever went any place as it was a vessel tied up for either scrap or resale, but for the summer of 86 and well into the fall it was a great experience for all connected to it. This was only few of the 19 or so cadets we had on board but the pic is a good reminder of the days that were pleasant and we sailed nowhere but everywhere imaginable....thanks for the peek
