Description

MB3D/PSP Thank you for stopping for a closer look. Any and all comments are always appreciated. On saturday i ended up downloading the MB3D program so i could try rendering an image for Lenord. Since i have it on my computer now i decided to try it out. Len helped me out a lot by answering some inital questions, and sending me a very helpful tutorial he had prepared. I have to say this program makes color, shadow, and depth adjustments very simple and it is the easiest program i have tried so far to manipulate it to exactly what i want with 1 huge exception. I find it frustrating in trying to navigate around a formula. The controls to pick a small spot and zoom in are not near as user friendly as the color adjustments and such. Overall in my opinion it is a very good program, and capable of some amazing images, but at the same time i think UF is more versatile. So now i am very comfortable with UF, APO and learning MB3D. Learning these other programs helps me more fully appreciate the posts that other people do. Today is the first day back to work after a week off. Jim Yesterday's image thumb_2134543.jpg

Excellent first MB3d post, well done indeed Navigating around the boxes and bulbs will become second nature in short work. I felt the same way with it at first but after some practice flying to a spot or into a Crevace ot tunnel will seem easy as parking a car. Peace

Wow Jim, awesome image! Personally, I have found after trying other MB programs that the UF MB applications work best for me but that may just be because I am familiar with the UF controls. Your image today is really impressive. I would expect a person of your caliber to catch on quick but the short time it takes you to come up to speed on these new software programs is really impressive. Your rendering today does not look like neophyte stuff at all. It looks like something generated by an experienced user. Great work.

What a wonderful fractal. Really like the colors. Think you should be proud of this first posting using MB3d. I am looking forward to see your future art work in this area.

For a first, this is really impressive. I admire the way you can find your way round all these programmes so easily. It's great to share your enthusiasm and of course having fun is what it is all about. I bet you didn't want to leave to go to work!
