Description

This is the ancient (probably medieval) font in North Curry church on the Somerset levels, UK. The church is known locally as 'The Cathedral in the moor'. It truly is a magnificent building. The wheeled contraption you can see to the left is a coffin bier.

Has this also been turned into a museum? It is strange how so many churches in the UK is no longer used as churches but instead is used as museums of architecture. Great shot and information.
