Description

This is the medieval church at North Curry, Somerset,UK. It is dedicated to St Peter and St Paul and known locally as the Cathedral in the moor. The church stands on slightly higher ground than the general lay of the land around it, the land being known as the Somerset Levels which are flooded on several occasions every year. The land is only just above sea level and there is a chance that the sea will take over as a subsequence of global warming.

Gosh I have some catching up to do! Beautiful. What a shame that such architecture could be lost because of sea encroachment! It should be moved, stone by stone, to higher ground! It is most certainly worth it. ^=^

Very beautiful building !Great Pov in this image ! The shadow on the second plant is natural (and raw), it rained and came flashes of light, the first plant is illuminated by a ray of sun that hit the second (the plants are in my garden)
