Description

I'm afraid the shipping was way too expensive. Happy Belated Birthday anyway! I hope your day was fantastic! Taken in New York City, at 11:29 and 44 seconds (and 15 seconds later), during a 6 hour walking tour. The one day of fairly continuous rain during my visit (of course), but a lot of fun all the same.

Cool bday gift, and a really amazing clock. I assume you had to maneuver to get all of it in, it's not easy to get these captures in on-top-of-you-everywhere NYC. It's also nice because in the last shot you give us the context, and the windows around the clock harmonize with the boxes of the clock, as if NYC created a big geometric abstract for this corner. The bottom shot also shows two overhanging street lights, mixed colors, and a host of other visuals that make this a fascinating abstract. Fine capture & abstract. I've never seen a clock like this in my life; and it's funny, because it's on the side of an old chinese restaurant (!). Real NY stuff: Juxtapositions everywhere. Fine piece.
