Description
Another shot from day two, taken around 12 noon. This is a spur that runs of the Talimena Drive to the northeast. I was heading into Mena Arkansas for some lunch to try and wait out the clouds hoping the sun might pop out a little later. I decided to take the spur to Mena and found some very nice possabilities on this short route. After lunch I returned to the mountain only to find it socked in with fog, I couldn't see in some places a car length in front of me. Not real good for scenic vista shots.
My Knee surgery went well yesterday, back home today. I've been doing a little walking to day or maybe I should say hobbling. Thanks to each one of you for your well wishing and concerns, I am after 6 months on the mend.
Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you care to leave!
Thanks for the favs on my last post, comments, views and favs are all very much appreciated.

Excellent capture. I'm happy to hear that everything went well in your surgery!

Now, that's the kind of weather I usually encounter on my vacations! Fortunately it was beautiful when we were there in October. But I have to say I really love this photo! The fog gives it a really moody and almost mystical quality, very befitting this lovely drive. Glad your surgery went well!

I've been in the fog you describe, once on a bridge. You couldn't see either end so you were just floating in the fog on that section of bridge. This is the type of fog I like, just enough to provide atmosphere. Good news on your knee. My stepmother is a retired physical therapist and she would tell you not to go easy for a while.
