Computer geek extarodinaire, I love to tinker with gadgets and tech items to get them to do what I want. I'm either logically artistic or artisically logical. I'm also rude, crude, semi-barbaric, socially unacceptable, and totally psychotic. On the bright side - I am potentially harmless. I'm currently trying to write some short stories about the fae as well as a novel on those same fae as well as two other novels. The programs I have for photo and image editing are: Photoimpact from Ulead, Adobe Photoshop 7 and Corel Paint Shop Pro 2X. Recently I've added DAZ Studios as well as Terragen, Blender and Google Sketch to my list of programs crowding my hard-drive.  All this and much more on an old Pentium III 450 with 396 Megs of memory and operating Windows XP. It does get interesting at time.As of December 26, 2008, I have added Vue 7 Pioneer to my list of reason of why I'm going insane.
As of January 2010 I upgraded to a new HP 2 dual core processor with 6 gigs onboard mem with 4 gig powerboost and 2.07 terabytes of Hard drivesMy email is faemike55@gmail.com

Do these Fae's know about work?
Iceshark39
Lovely image, Mike. And a wonderful message. But help is needed for these poor people all year round, not just at the holidays. So many of them CAN'T work - coping with dependance, mental and pysical illnesses, ambivilent family members who don't care to let someone else who is hurting into their lives. Thank you for sharing such a pointed message...especially at this time of year when the wamrth of a strangers heart can mean the difference between life and death to those less fortunate.

I think you and I are running on the same cosmic wave with our stories. Humans encroaching on the elven lands. The Delphinium Order always has a place for lost fae souls.

I think she will be welcomed in Fae Valley, and it looks like The Delphinium Order also has an open door. She will find warmth this winter. So it can be for us humans, too. You are a talented artist, and a man with a huge heart!

You are so right Mike! These people do so desperately need food and shelter. It's a sad thing to see a man standing on the side of the road with a sign that says Need Help I have 4 children. The hollow look in his eyes was heart breaking. Kudos to you for reminding us how lucky we are!
jocko500
yes it is sad. i help a homeless person and she now have a job and a roof over her head. bad things still happen to her but she make it now with out me. which is good

I have been one of "those people", and I know quite a few of them. It really, really pisses me off how inhuman and heartless people can be, and often are. I have a lot of respect for the usually worn out people who make a choice of working difficult jobs with crappy pay because they want to make a difference. Mike, that kind of attitude makes you one in a million.

A most poignant message you deliver today, Mike! I must commend you on your field of endeavor! You are doing the Lord's work! I hope your message reaches the hearts of many. I know I will attempt to help on the next food drive and follow your suggestion on non-perishable items. Great artwork to accompany your message as well! Well done!

Wonderful Message For those Who Need

Beautiful image! Wonderful request, I hope all honor. Food, clothing and basics are needed year round, it just seems so much sadder at this time of year that people are in need. We always try to give when we can, I never hesitate to give to the Salvation Army. I have a very warm spot for them, since they were one of the first groups on the scene after a hurricane devastated our area. I actually cried when they handed us hot meals with no questions asked.

Kool work, love that fairy!!!!!

The saddes part of this all is that food banks are even needed. Some people have so much and some people are homeless and have no food to eat. It really is a shame. I could give a big Rene rant about this but I won't.
magnus073
Mike, you did a wonderful job on this touching dedi my friend. I'm so proud of you and your caring heart for those in need around you. It is a great idea to find the local food shelter and clothing stores in your area and take food and clothes you don't need to them from time to time for those who can really use it. If there isn't one then talk to your church about setting something up as especially this time of year there are so many in need.

Do these Fae's know about work? Thirty-eight years ago I was living in a garage. The country was in a recession and no one would hire me. I remember spending my last dollar on a can of tuna and some rolls only to find I had no can opener. I went back to the store and stole the can opener. I was lucky, I managed to escape that life. My young friend Gabriel used to see people like that and call them 'losers'. As part of my mentoring to him I taught him to see what I saw instead. A wounded veteran whose battle experiences fried his brains years ago in Vietnam. A young mother with children whose husband had died in Iraq. An elderly person who had no family and whose medical expenses had made them homeless. I've found that most people don't need a handout, they just need a hand. God bless you Mike for the work that you do. I am not a religious man but if the Christians are right when Jeus comes back you will surely be among the sheep. MATTHEW 25:31-46 ~ 33. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35. for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36. I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.') Now what say you tell Queen Zlata about this little one so she can find some shelter before it starts snowing.
