Description

A sunset over an irrigation ditch and a tobacco field just outside Padova.Growing tobacco for crop rotation is still profitable in this region, though not as common as it used to be twenty years ago. On the horizon you can see the cones of the Euganean Hills. The photo was taken in the last days of October. Thanks for your kind comments.

Beautiful photo! Wonderful descriptive! I find it most interesting the evolution of the agrarian occupation, having been involved in it the first 35 years of my life.
