Greetings to the people of Earth.
I've always wanted to say that! Now that I did, I can now get on with other things.
I'm a science fiction writer (not famous yet) born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I've lived in the Czech Republic and Germany, and though I am currently back in Chicago, much of my heart remains in the Czech Republic. Maybe it's the beer. Or the bread. I hope to live in Moscow soon, as a big portion of my heart already resides there. I've had an interest in science fiction since an early age and will probably maintain that interest for the rest of my life. I love SF, and anything else that embraces the spirit of discovery...or anything that chafes against the arbitrary boundaries of "conformity."Â
I discovered Renderosity a couple of years back when I was browsing the internet, looking for cool images to spark my imagination during a period of writer's block. It wasn't a serious block, but I needed something to make me ask the sorts of questions that I always ask before settling down to craft a short story or novella. Since that time, I've written quite a lot and I've begun to post photographs and other visual works that I created here...partially because I love the Renderosity community in general, and partially because the images and text-snippets that I have contributed here are something of an ongoing journal. I'm incredibly lazy when it comes to journal keeping, and so posting picures of particular significance actually helps me to remember the things I want to remembe, without having to eat into my fiction writing time by writing non fiction. Well, at least that's my excuse and I am sticking with it.
I entered into the field of photography totally by accident; I'd always been interested in capturing small stories, but it wasn't until my journey to Europe that I began to consciously seek out tableaus that imply stories in progress. As a result of that, my writing is growing in unexpected directions, and I look forward to becoming more and more active here, and in other artistic/publishing fields.
For those looking at my gallery, enjoy it and feel free to leave comments and sitemail! Good day to all!

I was noticing that I haven't commented on your gallery in a long time. Hmmmmmmmm. Anyway, this is pretty groovy and I like it a lot! Kind of like looking at a lava lamp. I'm enjoying your spin-cycle period.pinning!

Cool abstract!

I love these, I am amazed every time that it all starts out with moving as you shoot lights at night. Very creative work!
Bothellite
Sorry that I don't get to comment more often but this thumbnail, I assume, of you really caught my attention. You are an elf -- please no offense. You know that I'm nuts about elfs (no 'elves' - but there's something about 'elfs'). Could explain some things (I'm also assuming that perhaps you elf'd yourself in photoshop but that's cool because it fits. I love your experimentation too.

You've definitely taken the jiggled and spun lights to a whole new level and it's very entertaining. As Bothellite has already commented on your new avatar, I admit I was thinking the same thing, although in your case, perhaps Vulcan? I look forward to the models with sci-fi props, sounds very intriguing!

I just love the end result of these forays into spin-n-jiggle world! Just to make sure I hadn't missed something, I looked back at some of my Chicago shots to check your ears. Nope ... you've changed, my dear! :D

Like your new avatar.Outstanding work my friend.

I nice piece to contemplate so late at night. The electric colour of city lights weaved to take the form of tapestry. Or perhaps the complex and enigmatic meanderings of twelve dimensional quantum strings. Or perhaps some exotic and alien (though curiously still reliant upon vacuum tubes) projection system that when activated can manifest materialistic three dimensional images - more substantial than holograms but just as ephemeral.

I can imagine Janeway seeing that from some portal of the Enterprise, turning to Tom Paris and saying "Thrusters only Tom. Let's go investigate!" Leastways, that's what I'd do. Jiggle on Chip! Fabulous! ^=^ Even more wonderful to see Corey here! ^=^

A masterpiece from Mr S&J himself! I should like to try it, but as I felt slightly dizzy all day yesterday it won't be that soon.
