Well, it seems that our Murphy has caught a whiff of birthday cake again! And it also seems that SnowDrop Fae has lost her little dragon pup, Firefly, again. SnowDrop Fae has managed to convince Murphy to help her find Firefly, and lucky for her, Murphy has found that the smell of birthday cake and dragon pup seem be together!
So. It appears that the wee deer mouse folk heard about Stacey's birthday and convinced the dragon pup, Firefly, to help them in making this cake .. and now all of them are taking a nap, too much work making the cake, too much celebrating Stacey's birthday, and HEY! Did anyone invite Stacey to her birthday party??? Is there enough of the cake left for her? Will there be enough after Murphy finds it???
Happy Birthday Stacey!! Hope there's cake and ice cream for your celebration, because the folk at the Hollow don't seem to have much left!
Wishing you a wonderful year that stretches out way longer then a year! I know you'll have a terrific day of celebration .. and in fact, I hope the whole year is a celebration!
The photo of Murphy is mine, I added the little fairy who is by Anita Lee, I found it at Fantasy's Attic. The wee mice are by SuzieQ at suzieqspsptubes and the little dragon pup is from restlessconcepts at psptubedepot.
I've one more of JaneEden's beautiful tubes ready to post tomorrow, it's one of her beautiful Havanese pups at about 10 weeks of age. Wait till you see it!
Many thanks for all your wonderful comments on the previous post of Freddie. I love the way his paw was raised, and just had to tuck that mouse in there. Thanks for the faves also, it's all so appreciated.
I'm off to spend a few minutes in the galleries .. and then to bed. I've been staying up way too late, and the dogs don't seem to think that sleeping past 8 in the morning is necessary. Try and explain to them that a person needs more then 4 hours of sleep, LOL. They don't get the concept ..

Wonderful birthday dedi Rita, and hey it is far better late than never. My Lisa was with me yesterday when we first saw this and we both adored it so much, and the little story attached. She had been feeling low due to problems with Cameron, but hey Rita you cheered her up when she saw this so much, so thank you sweet friend, hugs Jane xx

A beautiful birthday card for Stacey and I love how you have added the little fairy and the mice. I knew they were cute even if they do make a mess in your caravan when you aren't there. This has a wonderful happy feel to it and it is a pleasure to open.

It's so nice to see all your bday dedis, you make them so magical. (And forgive me for skipping some images---it's no commentary on the images, I love what you did with Jane's images, for example---but I can't comment on all the images I missed over so long a time, so please accept my apologies for only choosing 5 or 6. Just know that I see everything you do, and it's a great treat.) I've always loved how you combine your dog(s) with your fairy tale characters & imaginary souls. The fairy on Murphy is colored to match his slivery coloring, and she's wholly relaxed in his fur. I know nothing about manipulating images inside images---nothing---except that I assume they're not easy to manipulate; so I simply assume that your ease came with much doing & learning over time. The little mice near & on the birthday cake are delightful; and it's wonderful that one is sleeping on the frosting next to the candle. Nicely placed on the leaves too. And there's your dog-paw signature on the rock this time. (You do really nice work adapting your signature to your images...) Another delightful bday image from you, playful & using a real photo so well. It's always a pleasure to see murphy doing his thing in your art. Another delight from you...
