My first love of fractals came with Ultra Fractal, but I have also learned my way around APO, but have to admit in the past few months since discovering MB3D i have seldom used the other 2 platforms. MB3D has so much to offer and explore it is amazing.  i work in the healthcare field in northern Manitoba so there is not that many distractions to keep me from exploring a newly found creative streak.ÂÂ

This really is a superb looking image Jim, and what a clever idea to use your cat Bear as part of the background

Great image Jim, I hope someone will help you with your issue. I would suggest finding another artist that may have an image with the similar type background you are trying to achieve and dropping them a note asking them for their advice, I have found that most of the members here are more than happy to lend a hand. Good luck.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean you're not being Watched. Super work, The add BG image is diffucult to work with. When an image is loaded for a BG the Program does a straight interpolation on it and inserts it as a BG so it's not like laying the MB image on top as a layer. Also the size of the image used makes a big difference as to warpage when trying to get them oriented. Then on top of all that the Ambient Depth (fog) and also the Dynamic Fog (Both color and strength) effect the BG greatly. Peace

Great scene! Excellent work. I'm still working on the background issues myself!

A cat's eye. Never mind, I admire your beautiful Mandelbulb textures and engravings. Just let Great fractal-fantasy, Jim.

What a great piece of work, really awesome how the cat's eye stands out.The Bear is often watching us from the least expected places. I really like the whole fractal. Reminds me of a piece of coral covered with the ocean's clear blue water. All of your experimental work is pleasure to view.

Like the image, see the eye, but am completely lost regarding the MB3D thingie. Not to worry! The picture gives an impression of early Italian art (Fra Angelico, Giotto, etc., and greatly helped by the use of that frame (Cimabue?).

I love that you used your cat Bear as the bgd image, very well done your it looks remarkable, I love how you added it to the excellent fractal . The whole scene is of interest, and I can see you put such a lot of thought into it, I love this, well done Jim xx

Not me. My feeling is that just because I am paranoid, it doesn't mean they are not out to get me. So it's best to keep vigilant. I think your rendering today is a tutorial case in where bulb art is headed in the future. It is not bulb art just to show bulbs (although that is also beautiful). It is the use of the medium as a larger art expression. Your mixing of media here is truly masterful and you are already moving way beyond the more conventional uses. BRAVO!
