Description

MB3D/PSP Thank you for stopping for a closer look. Any and all comments are always welcome and appreciated. Today's image is in homage to Douglas Adams. The restauant at the end of the Universe is the title of one of his books. If anyone enjoys a healthy dose of strange sci-fi intertwined with sometimes fairly dark humour, the series of the Hitch Hikers guide to the galaxy is a wonderful read. Enjoy your tuesday, stay safe, and stay warm. Yesterday's image: thumb_2137677.jpg

This is so very funny and artfully done. What's on the menu bar in that restaurant, Jim? Only blue drinks (and blue snacks)? When I see this window, I'm reminded of a rear-view mirror ;-)

Great image and wonderful tribute to the five-book trilogy! Not to mention the great game, which he co-produced

What a delightfully whimsical and creative marque! Edged by neon and flashing lights around the text sign you can almost see in motion. It reminds me of a Holiday Inn marque you would see by the roadside on the way to Vegas. This would beyond a doubt be the perfect book cover artwork. It is so quintessentially Douglas Adams. Marvin is no doubt twenty feet away, utterly depressed, in the parking lot attending space-time cruisers (and him with a brain the size of a planet too). I absolutely love it!
