Description

At the end of a Sunday lunch - an empty wineglass and suddenly the tiles take on a distorted shape - it's that - or too much wine ? no - not me ... It can't possibly be the camera who's been drinking ? Tom Waits blamed it on the piano, his necktie was asleep ! Big Cheers *BB*

Stunning John Waints, camera, and you. Was it a whole bottle, you little drunken photographer? You have looked too deep into the glass, or was it the tie of the camera, which necked you(r eyes)? Great image, looks like a fractal, Brigitte!

Funky distortions there BB and the postwork effect is icing on the cake ! Funny, this also reminds me of HAL 9000 from 2001, except an earlier model...the HAL 200 ! ~Cheers~ & a bit more ~Cheers~ :o)

The phrase "Through a glass darkly" has inspired many films and television productions as well as several compositions and literary works. And why not? The phrase is inspirational as it urges one to explore beyond the limits of human perception. Dear BB, this is a fine example of artistic talent overcoming the humble limits and inertia of the five senses into the limitless realm of imagination.

"Small Change" 1976. Another Tom Waits fan. I just knew there was something about you I liked. By all means, blame it on the camera.

This looks so different and it was very well spotted, so you couldn't have had too much to drink.LOL. The tiles make a wonderful frame for the glass.
