Description

I don't know why I do this to myself. I continue to play with pictures that I was perfectly happy with and then think "ooh, I like that better" even if I've already posted one. So here's the same render as yesterday, but with a graduated adjustment layer (and slightly closer cropping). I kind like this since it's more dramatic, not so pink and washed out. So sorry to duplicate myself, but I thought I'd share anyway.

works for me! Every time you do this to yourself you enhance your skills. Your space stuff is really turning out top top quality. My one thought from the last version was to wonder if the Enterprise would have looked less "overlay" if you put just a wisp of cloud in front of part of it...pull it back into the image a bit that way...but what you've done here seems to have solved that issue quite well.

You should see the top down version. Big E is REALLY close to the camera, just can't see the gap if you zoom out to show the station too. I had to do that since adding it was an afterthought and resizing it and moving it into the clouds screws up the running lights. And well, I'm just too lazy to adjust the fall off on the lights. pretty sure the overlay feeling was due to lighting. I had a blueish light behind the camera to the left which was a little harsh. This filter calmed it down, not to mention improving the contrast.

LOL; You should see the stack of renders (with version numbers) I have before I post to Rendo. Nice job on the tweak!
