My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Some one went to great 'panes' to make and install these windows!!! Lovely shot.

Beautiful composition and postwork. Bet tall windows and very high ceilings throughout the building encouraged summer breezes...so essential before the days of air conditioning. But just think of the dust that would have come with those breezes! This was dustbowl country in the 1930s.

Beautiful photo, full of light and form! Excellent, Tara! Yeah, OSHA was't around when they built that courthouse - and they didn't have a litigation-crazed society like we do now! LOL!

The windows are lovely, but it's the light that's the star of the shot! Great capture!

Stellar lighting effects and the windows most unique in their shape. One of the last things the condemned sees before he is led off to confinement.

I have never even thought about the importance of windows before electricity. Not only have you informed me ,but you did it beautifully with this foto.
