Description
Playing at the beach near our house a few days ago. It was lovely!
Today we have snow. How's that for a change in the weather?

WOW! This is one of those really marvelous shots that just drips with mood and all sorts of environmental innuendo...all in the best possible ways! What stories might those pilings tell? What do the grasses whisper when the wind blows? What memories does the water hold, and what rivers can it name!? These are the questions that pop into my head, and of course I'm curious as to what breeds of isopod might live there, either on land or in the shallows. All of that is evoked by the wonderful richness of this photo...there are textures, colors, shapes, patterns...all of the stuff that works so marvelous in concert. Funny, as I look at this, I'm listening to a particular Passacaglia and thinking of a particular interstellar realm where everyone is just a bit left of normal...and so this picture is really evoking quite a lot! I love that. I love this shot!
