Description

Most of my science fiction tends to be sub-orbital, but for once I decided to take a trip to one of the colonies in space... Vue 9 Infinite, signature in Photoshop CS3. Orbital station and Rim ships from C3D. I hope that all my American friends had an excellent Thanksgiving, and that your poor overloaded gastronomic systems are recovering... TFL. Craig

the intricacies of the colony, and the interactions of shape & shadow, are beautifully conceived. As beautiful is the soft glow about it all, as if you recounted it to us from a sweetness-tinged memory. Or as if the light in this quadrant of the universe is simply diffused by some out-of-frame atmosphere or gaseous cloud or whatever. For all the detail, it's as much a study in curving shape and sweep, and the way light plays off it in the darkness. A beautiful abstract. And glowing with the nostalgia of 'home'...Fine work, Craig, and very sensitively envisioned...
