As jayfar said, yes, the ladies DO like it! At least this one! Yes, barn owls! We have then here in New Hampshire, USA. This past year I had the privilege to view an online web cam of the inside of a barn owl nest box and watched from when the eggs were laid until all six owlets fledged and flew. These owls are AMAZING hunters. The parents both hunt together and on the web cam you would see one of the parents return with a rat, gopher, rabbit, mice... A gorgeous shot!!!!

I don't exactly know what these sleeping beauties are, though I suspect they might be barn owls...or not. At any rate, this is an amazing photograph and I love the details and the fact that you captured not one, but two of these fantastic critters. They were once recognized as carriers of knowledge and bringers of wisdom and all of that good stuff, so whenever I see owls, I think of smartness. That's never a bad thing. I love this image and the soft, subtle colors in it. Really great work.
