Just-gotta-have-some-fun time again!
Digifiddling carried to new heights.
Captured 11/25/10, around 7:10 AM, within walking distance of my languid lodgings.
Took this shot looking directly into the sun.
Check it out full size.
Original on top.

Love that bottom one!!

Superb capture to start with! The vanishing point, vanishes in a glow of light. Wonderful postwork too. As one who can lose her balance while walking in a relatively straight line, on a smooth surface, I have a certain affinity for number five. I also see a smiling face of a dog in it. Number two looks like there has been an explosion and energy rays are racing towards the viewer and it is getting a bit hot. Excellent lines in number three. It reminded me of the skirts worn in the 1700s that had quilted petticoats that were visible as a panel in the front. The filter in number four gives great textures and muted colors. I can see you had fun with these. Terrific results!

Cool collage Harry. The empty rail road and surrounding with the bright light at the end is super. Great to see you branching out with photoshop fun.

The rose-gold light is wonderful; and the variations are cool and potentially dangerous for railcars (I'm thinking earthquake on the bottom one!) Great work, Harry!

Dazzling...like the third one down best...rather roller-coasterish:)

a very nice picture at the start, and then changes more or less crazy. I love old steam locomotives, and I think if the man had no eyes but he has another vision, as expressed by some, he could not build railroads! ! Creating quality and very funny!

I would love to ride on a train that could use the tracks in number 3! That would be an adventure.

Always good to get away from serious to have a little fun I think riding the rail on the bottom might be a little rough, LOL. Wonderful and fun work thanks for sharing!

Super variations you have done here but I hope a train doesn't come down the bottom track. The photo is a great capture looking into the sun too.

love reading the comments, and as always I learn to see things I hadn't, from reading Lucinda. I agree that the original is postworthy by itself, as well as with the montage: The light really dissolves part of the picture, and the detail along with the walls of buildings on both sides make a wonderful portrait in urban traintracks or trainyards. (A powerful reddish glow too.) The variations are your usual having fun with form & light, I liked them all, and love to see what Lucinda sees in the petticoat, and the smiling dog of number 5 (I saw that too, but it looked more like a totem face to me). And yeah, looks like an earthquake hit some of the tracks. I notice, in 3 & 5, that you postworked the tracks mostly, leaving much of the surrounding laregely untouched. Nice work, Harry---that isn't always easy. The last one is like a bad vision after too much tequila. (Or pipe dreams, from the old opium pipe...) And the light in that one has a splendid reddish glow. Another of your fine & also fun photo-manipulated montages, and I don't have a favorite as I like them all; but the first one is a fine shot in its own right.

Super collage and liked #3 & #5 best but enjoyed the postwork in #4 also. Dana
