Description
Portland calls itself the city that works. This philosophy carries over to city services and the care the city gives to its residents and visitors. So if you find that the GPS is acting up or you've forgotten to bring maps along on your trip just head down to Pioneer Square to get your bearings.

Portland, the city that works on bike trails...and not the sewers, the water mains, no road repairs...watch out: we followed the GPS map to a bicycle trail that was labelled a road! Yeesh! This sign almost did not exist because of the car bomb plot that went bust. Was it the sign???
