Beautiful! A remarkable place and wonderful capture. Excellent composition and color. I love the line of the cliff (and the lines on it), the patch of light, and the lighthouse. The water is beautiful, with subtle changes of color. Great image!

That breaking patch of light with the lighthouse sitting so small against the water is dramatic. Stellar shot.

alan, a beautiful shot in part because of the beautiful rise of the ground to its 'triumph' in the rock formation on the right, and how its top parallels the horizon-line of the water. In part because of the beautiful muted tone of the shot: that ocean-y bluish green that intones something mysterious & eternal. And part from the exquisite patch of sky above and its dramatic reflection on the water (incl the partly visible sun rays coming from the clouds). A deeply complex but very open shot all at once, and another reason why you're one of the site's best nature photographers, among your many other areas of expertise. And the lighthouse asserts the existence of the ground in a shot that speaks of sky & water beautifully.

this is a great one. the light is just unreal. i would have said this was impossible if it were 3D.
