Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Love the lines of the bridge; yes, you probably wouldn't enjoy that steep climb much at all. Think snakes, rocks, scrapes and scratches...naw, this is a great view right here!

Denise is absolutely right! This will do very nicely!

I'm not climbing down there either! It's easy to imagine it from underneath, and I'm staying right here with you and Denise and Andrea! :)

Does not that road go under the bridge? If so could have used that to get under it lol.. Nice shot anyway Marilyn.. Is it a rail bridge?

Not to mention wearing flipflops in the effort. Kool kapture of the bridge as it spans the mountainous terrain, Maz.

This is a wonderful capture. I'd do the walk to get the shot
vaggabondd
well it is a really nice capture from where you were at

Love bridge shots when the bridge is free of cars and people. Awesome shot. The walk down may not have been that bad but the climb back up would have been murder. Dana

I know how that feels walking down a steep hill. One mistake might be your last mistake. When I fell climbing down from the other side of Waipio Valley (donkey trail), I was lucky to fall and stay on the trail. Other than that, straight down a cliff. Glad you did not hike down... Interesting Bridge. Aloha

What a graceful bridge. This is a really nice shot...I'd like to have seen a shot from the bottom, but not if you had to endure a walk down a rather steep hill--probably with thistle and snakes, or even rare thistle-snakes. Anyway, I like this view just fine because of the grace and the layers. The bridge way, way, way up there over a...road? What a view! This is really nice. I also love the cooler colors; they don't imply "coldness" or anything like that, but they do play really well with the sense of openness that this photo really captures. This is really well done.
