Description
I just wanted to find out whether a boolean-free Phillips-head screw could be done. Turns out that was the easy part. A simple combine as compound command. Now the spiral that comprises the threads...not so easy.
I'm still searching for the recipe on this...I'll keep you posted. Or if you already know the solutions...keep ME posted:)

Not completely sure what you're looking for but there is a tutorial in the Carrara section which talks about how to make threads for a bolt. Take a look at that and see what you make of it. Nice image!
