More like time to turn back the clock to the Bush era of enriching the already rich, driving down wages, outsourcing more jobs, downgrading the environmental laws, etc. Sounds like we already tried that for about 10 years and look where that lead us.....

There was a time when the GOP at least made a show of caring for the average American. Ike was president then. Now they don't even try. When they're out of power, they're a non-stop witch hunt. When they're in power they're a non-stop agent of the rich. They know how to get elected, but they've NEVER known how to govern. Like Senator Al Franken said: "They get elected screaming how bad government is, and then spend their terms proving it." Someone should read Ike's "Cross of Iron" speech. If there was ONE Republican like him, I'd vote for him. But there isn't.
