Thanks for all the comments..-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
About myself.. I was born in 1966. Survived Cancer in 1996 and 1999 and am happy to be still around..
I am in the extra years now.. stopped working for others (government) in 2000 and after a couple of years doing absolutely NOTHING.. I started some compagnies myself ..
I own a Boat Compagny here in The Hague (tourists) and a Model Agency for Tall  Models (young ladies over 1m90/6f3).All in All I enjoy Life to the Max..
The last few years have been extremely good for me. And for that I am very very grateful.
So often before I go to sleep I think to myself.. "I have no pain".. and I enjoy these moments.. as it was different in the past.. and it will be different in the future.. but for now... All is ok !
Had a complete medical check in january 2011. All is ok indeed. Good news to start a year with :D
Although i have heard of people who dropped down for the last time within a week after having heard such good news from a doctor.... We never can be sure.. but at least I hope I have a smile on my face when I go.. as it is and was a good life

Started to work with Poser in 2003.. Poser 4 that was. Now I use Poser 9 and DAZ 4.9. But a computer crash in March 2016 makes it impossible for me now to make art. Hope to be able to buy a new (fast, steady) pc in 2017.
Joined Rendersity in 2002 in search of info about Poser. but never visited the site again (forgot about it) until many, many years later (2007). Now I am here often.
Enjoying the great work made by many great artists.. When .. in winter .. there is time.. I try to see as much of your work as possible.. It's a joy to see all the creativity !
Maybe .. in winter 2017 I will try DAZ 4.9 (or 5 when it arrives....) First a new season on the Canals of my city.. The 8th ... amazing how time flies

12 september 2021. I have posted my last image here. I can not believe what happened to RenderoSity Once it was full of great artists commenting on eachothers posts.. now it is silent.. and all who were once here seem to have gone.. I wish those who are still a bit alive all the best. May life be good to you.

This is a beautiful area Chris, and a very nice capture of it and the little birds that dwell within. It is amazing how they were able to adapt to the winter, and hopefully they all survive and find food as well as shelter.

Splendid story and capture!!!

Great shot. I've never seen wild ones that close. We have them here in Pennsylvania, US. Though they may be a similar parrot. The ones I know are called Quaker Parrots or Monk Parakeets. They survive the cold winters by nesting together in nests made of sticks on trees - body heat.

it is pretty wild seeing a bird that is known for a hot jungle hanging out in the snow, I guess it just doesn't know how to use it's wings and fly south - lol

What a wonderful story! I hope that they make it all right through such cold weather! It always amazes me how creatures can adapt. As someone above mentioned, Quaker or Monk Parakeets have adapted VERY well to the cold weather and are as far north as Massachusetts. The ones where you are look they are related to the ring-necked parakeet. I'll have to do some research! As a parrot owner I love seeing stories and photos like this!!

This is amazing! I know further south in the US, we have tropical birds that have escaped from homes that have adapted to the wild, but not this far north. Brrrr .. the wind makes it feel much colder! Stay warm!!
