Description

"Excuse me, I know you meant well when you got me this number, but *why*? Would *you* wear it? Seriously, don't you think I might feel a bit exposed in this? And we're going *where*? My mum's *friends* have dinner there... didn't you think about that possibility? Seriously, what were you *thinking*????" ================================================== Always the learning curve, finally finding lights that look really incredible on my desktop monitor, but which will probably look like poo on yours. Oh well. Be kind, anyway. Undies don't count as nudity, do they? Most credit goes to Bagginsbill's P8 light tutorial. But, in retrospect, this is more of a disservice than a credit to his brilliant tutorial.

gotta say, most impressive, wonderful character (beautiful), the pose and expression are superb and the lighting looks spot on (no pun intended). On the lighting, it is just right, slightly darker but of the same value as outside.top job !!

this is just priceless! the pose and expression perfectly express her incredulity. it's a skilled anti-pinup. the light looks very appropriate for an overcast day. i'm assuming you're talking about bagginsbill's IDL tutorial, which means this is incredible for your first IDL work. in my experiece, it's really difficult to do lighting without references. her skin looks very soft and smooth, which is _so difficult to do with without SSS to model the translucence of skin like that. but what really strikes me is the tone and message of the piece. great humor, expertly conveyed.

Not bad at all, the lighting matches the background and the text gives the scene life and character, which is always a good thing. Personally i would recommend you to raise the contrast a bit, but - as you already indicated - maybe that's just because of the monitor... Anyways, well done.
