Description

This is the still WIP Skywyrm Bull. Basically I wanted to revisit the Skywyrm with the skills I have acquired since I made the original. Initially I had intended this one to replace the other, but I don't think I'll go that route. It will be separate, but the original will remain available. This one still has lots of work as I would like to make many morphs and even possibly a saddle for it before I release it. I still need to tweak the wings. There is another joint I'd like to add. This one though is FAR easier to use in the cloth lab than the original. The elbow spikes are gone, and I will probably never use that in a wing design again. Very awkward from a rigging standpoint and caused all kinds of headaches in the cloth lab. And really, not particularly practical from a biological stand point either--though to be fair neither is the wing design overall that is being used. It wouldn't fold up very well. Anyways, there are many design differences in this one as well. He is much more birdlike in the short torso. The feet are very hawk or eagle like, albeit thicker to support the weight of the creature. The head and neck are more natural in their rigging, the mouth is more detailed. Textures still need a lot of work yet, but this will not be out for a while. The dragon is roughly the same scale in Poser as the original Skywrym too. Easypose has been used extensively in the neck and tail, feet and fingers. Anyways, I'll reveal more down the road as I work on it, amongst other things. Hope you like what you see. Cheers

I'm excited! As you know, I'm a big fan of your dragons. I found the original a bit cumbersome to work with, but I'm really looking forward to this version. I love Robustus! I still need to try out Campy though. Maybe soon!

Can hardly wait. For Dragonslayer at ILM when they needed a dragon foot prop they said they constructed a giant chicken foot.
