Description

...fastest manmade thing I've ever photographed:) ...found sitting in a quiet corner of the Research & Development hangar of the US Air Force Museum...no ropes, no fences. Bang Zoom!!!! To the moon, Alice! Great Scott, they left this momentous piece of history unguarded and unprotected? What trusting souls. The North American X-15, a beauty of a quasi spacecraft. I remember it well. Anyway, excellent POV and image, especially considering the lighting conditions. Your ISO 800 saved the day.
