My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Before I took a breakfast dose of Izzard, as prescribed, I was already laughing. Because your marvellous image looks SO much like nearly every flat surface in my house! The difference is that the stuff is not mainly silver, but IS mainly dusty.

I immediately saw Alice falling down the hole, the Mad Hatter in the background saying 'You'll Need A Tray'... Multi-layered creativity! Clive

it could be 2D, you don't need any special reason for this, it's about shape, form, color & visual dialogue. But it's also collage, and whatever you call it, it's a terrific piece of art. Not only because of your work on each item---each has a sheen & mystery that's quite compelling---but your arrangement, and the 'ghost' lines of light & reflection that seem to pull it all together. The blue highlights (pitcher, bottom), red highlights (several items), gold highlights & the beautiful splashing whites all make this very painterly. And it feels like a still scene where you came along and shouted "look aware!" and eveything jumped & you got the capture. Beautiful lighting, massing of shapes, and musical energies. Love the piece. No question who did it. This is a tara piece, through & through...
