Description
Another shot from Tuesday's construction site outing.
I'm standing in the basement, shooting up through an opening in the floor, up through what used to be the dining room, through the rafters to the roof.
For those of you in places where buildings are made of stone and brick and metal, this is what the inside of a wooden house looks like when the walls are gone.

An unusually shaped opening - I'm wondering if there would be a staircase added to this at some point?? The builder must have been too warm to disrobe his hoodie!

This cool photo brings all the sounds back to my ears...of a huge crowbar being used to pry up sheets of plywood flooring, ...the mournful screach of nails being forced to give up their hold on floor joists that have become their intimate companions over the years... Great visual perspective here:)

i love this, when a building get a new direction, it is so interesting and its always stunning how much work it is, and finaly you have a wonderful new home adaptet to the own wishes... i hate the dust but i love working forward:) all this i see in your picture!

I love this, and the hoodie is what makes it! That spot of orange just stands out among all of the studs and rafters and whatever else lies in obscurity behind the walls when the walls are there. I love the lines in this, the way everything is off at its own angle and yet the whole thing is cohesive and really geometrically appealing. Yeah, nice stuff.
