Description
It has been a little cold this season, even for the valley herein California.
Being a desert rat at heart thought s warm summer image in order. This was a stop about 45 minutes before sunset, located in the Mojave Scenic Preserve along Interstate 15. I always stop in this area when traveling through for I've always found the Joshua trees most intriguing.

Wonderful! I love the soft yet rich quality of the color and light. The land and sky laid out in a limited palette that is unlimited in its majesty and beauty. Gorgeous light and shadows! Beautiful place and superb capture!
